My boss just showed me this video, and I had the eerie feeling that I had just stepped in to one of Fabius’ or El Cid’s wet dreams … complete with creepy music. Just watch the video, and you’ll know what I mean.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s the first commercially available jetpack. Produced by the Martin Aircraft Company, it can be yours for the tidy sum of … well … they don’t say how much. Seems like you just have to phone up and ask. But if we happen to have any uber-rich dedicated readers, I think I know how you might make a couple of nerdy history buffs wet themselves with childlike excitement.

Martin’s always been a good company, some famous designs like the B-26 Marauder.
But I’ll wait on this until they can mount a 6X FLIR/Thermal Targeting pod hooked up to a mini-gun on it.
